Gruden...

Anyone think Gruden learned something from being fired in Tampa? If he was the same as he was in Tampa then I would agree wholeheartedly that we don't need him. But after having success as a young coach which pretty much went to his head, and being very difficult to play for and coach with, he may have learned something from being fired. If that is the case, then I would definitely consider him from an offensive point of view. He might know more about offenses and how to create a successful NFL spread offense than most anyone out there. After he got fired he spent 9 months going to NFL and college teams studying the spread offense and how to meld it into an effective NFL offense. Frankly he could leave Meeks in place which is our version of Monte Kiffin and things would likely be fine on the defensive side.

He also coached Brett Farve, pretty sure he can coach our young QB's up.

He was an offensive assistant and WR coach for 3 years in Green Bay. This was 2 years before their Super Bowl runs. He's had success with 2 QBs in the Pros. Brad Johnson and Rich Gannon, both who were 10 year Vets when he had them.

Probably the only young QB he has "developed" is Chris Simms.

Say no to Chuckie!
