The night we lost the Super Bowl, I was very down. I just kept saying "This fuging sucks, we lost."

Finally my wife (then just a girlfriend) said to me, "Don't worry honey, someone had to lose."

I turned to her and said, "You don't understand. I'll be an old man before we make it back to the Super Bowl."

So far... I'm on track.

But the good news is, I'm starting to get grey hairs in my beard now. Since old is a relative measurement, maybe we'll be back in the next five years or so.

I would say in 5-7 years probably. And that is just going by the formula that if there are 16 teams per conference and every team = 1 SB per year, then we should be due in the next 6-7 perhaps? But that's being optimistic.
