Here's hoping Edwards gets a start at QB this year

Armanti is a great QB, i mean Jesus, if Manning and Brady and Brees are considered great it's not disrespectful or asinine to say that someone who played 4 years of sub par competition wouldn't be mentioned in that group of Elite NFL QBs already.

Guys he played college football here. Local Hero? The second coming?

That's it, isn't it. You are one of those BCS loving, no one else can play college football, wannabe elitist, types....at least in that huge open space between the ears.

What did you do, go to Wake Forest?

Armanti is great. I've never seen something so pathetic as rooting against players on your team. Losers

Nobody is rooting against him, we're just realists and not living in magical fairy land where he's going to be an elite NFL QB. For the third time, read my posts in this thread I hope he's the reincarnation of Steve Smith or Desean Jackson....

Yeah we lost some pretty close games to VaTech Clemson and ECU. I'd rather be in that ACC than be the best in a subpar conference. BTW great quality wins against the powerhouses of Samford and Jacksonville (FL of NC????).

You lose close (and not so close) games every year. You know why? Because both NC State football and basketball is one big annual joke. Literally no one outside of Raleigh thinks for more than a nano-second about them when discussing quality athletics. You're not good at anything, and you haven't been since Jimmy V had a pulse. You won't be good at anything anytime soon, either. Once Wilson leaves, you'll go back to the bottom half of the already horrible ACC until O'Brien gets fired and they bring in the next mediocre coach. This exact same thing will happen in basketball as well, except maybe that guy won't be famous for nothing more than having ugly blazers and getting waxed by legitimate programs each and every week.

The fact that you're arguing against an FCS school (and losing) about who has a better program should give you a general idea of how far NC State athletics has fallen.

He's not a wide receiver.

Yeah, a lot of people say they wish him the best, but for one reason or the other they will not even give him a fair break.

I think everyone is frustrated about how much he cost us in the draft when he would have been there in the 6th round or later.

Sorry I'm from the West Coast, the Pac10 gets just about as much love as FCS conferences so don't bring that crap here.

Exactly, I'm happy to have him I think in a year or two he could be a dangerous playmaker in space. But knowing he would have been there much later really pisses me off when reality sets in that he cost us a top 35 pick....

He gets a fair shake week in and week out in practice and yet still cannot manage to suit up on game days.
