Wondering about Clausen...

Was he considered by some as the most NFL ready qb coming out of college just because of the system he played in? He only had 1 winning season at ND. His arm looks average at the very best and his accuracy..well...it's hard to tell who he's aiming for on a sideline full of players. For all I know, he could be hitting his target everytime.

Before I get yelled at for giving up on someone this early remember that I am just wondering about Clausen...

Was he overhyped? Yeah probably. Can he turn into a solid NFL qb? it remains to be seen. I refuse to give up on him this early. Lets give him the rest of this year to see if he can show us something.

Until we can get a coaching staff that knows how to develop QBs and WRs, we won't know how good or bad Clausen or Moore really is. And who knows how many probowl type WRs have been ruined here in Carolina.

He'll be in a much better spot if we go WCO next year, but that's no lock to happen.
