You know if the FO had signed a bunch of people this off season, and they all sucked, or we still were terrible, everyone will still be upset that our FO sucks at evaluating talent, blah blah. If the panthers had the youngest team and were undefeated, all would be good in the world. They took a risk, it failed. He admitted it failed and took responsibility for it. Thats more than most would do. I am no means happy with the team, but this is the beginning of change.

I would rather lose with nice hope for the future both in resigning our big names and a chance at some FAs under a new CBA than lose saddled with huge contracts and terrible players.

If you want to find an NFL owner who is more reclusive than Jerry Richardson, look at Virginia McCaskey... whose Bears team is 5-3, btw, and no one will say she hasn't invested in talent.
