Jerry Richardson apologizes to the fans

I have heard that either they are refusing to leave, or they are literally unable to contractually. I have heard both when talking about Garcia and McCown, so I don't know which is true, but they can't leave.

edit: So they could pay another 150k to pick one up on a buyout, but there's no guarantee either one of them want to leave the UFL, and their teammates there, for the Panthers...

Well the last game is on Nov 20th. Might be able to grab one then. Still would help in Dec. My biggest thing is to get the team playing good for next year.

But it wasn't a 3 point loss, and Fox did say something, and Fowler did write about him. The poo hit the fan and he had no choice. He finally spoke. Screw the reason why. He did it. Now we can let the season die peacefully and hope 2011 sees change.

If you want to find an NFL owner who is more reclusive than Jerry Richardson, look at Virginia McCaskey... whose Bears team is 5-3, btw, and no one will say she hasn't invested in talent.

Bears owner has nothing to apologize for. He spent the money and tried to improve his team. The only thing they didnt improve was the offensive line.

This is A LOT from Richardson.

Strange thing is, JR obviously likes money. Sacrificing an entire season to be ready for a possible lockout.

Can't he see how much money the Cowboys make with an owner who's always out there? The Cowboys maysuck badly but they tried to win this season and make money hand over fist.

The Bears owner showed an effort by spending money. Sure it might not of been the best signings looking back now but at least fans know he is trying.

For spending money on guys like Peppers and Taylor while doing nothing to address the worst offensive line in the NFL, which will ultimatley be their downfall.

Right and failing to address that offensive line will negate all the other money they spent.
