i would love that, but word is he's committed to his UFL team. he had a couple teams come after him, but he turned them down. granted, it was for backup jobs. he could very well win a starting job here. he knows the system.

There's really no one else I can think of offhand that makes much sense.

Its really a win-win imo. If Clasuen does good, then we will know that we've got our guy. If he continues to suck like he has, then there will be no doubt that he's not the answer and we will end up with a terrible record that could net us Luck

there still will be some doubt just because everyone else is not playing well.It would be different if we had a run game and the Oline was playing good but its hard to get a true read on a rookie when the entire offense is playing bad.IMO

I clicked on this and thought it was a joke. This is crazy and sad. I hate that we lost Matt because he gave us the best chance to win (not saying much though in all honesty) but we do need to get some film and evaluate what we have at the QB position. I really don't know what to say at this point.
