We should go Clausen and Pike the rest of the season, see what they've got. Moore will be gone next year and if the Panthers draft a franchise QB, only 1 of the rookies will stay around because they will get a veteran QB on the roster. If Pike were to show something, could see Clausen get traded to KC. He and Weis would be happy together.

Depending on Moore's injury, clausun and Pike may be what we have anyway.

I'd rather just start Clausen the rest of the year and see if he either has it or he doesn't. At least we'll have a high pick next draft to get another QB if he can't cut it.

I completely agree with this. If he is just having a tough time as a rookie, we need to figure it out and see if he's got NFL potential. If so, we can tackle another need with the #2 overall pick. If not, then we'll know to rebuild starting with the QB position.

Pike was a wasted pick, more so than Armanti Edwards.

Clausen could be a wasted pick......more so than Armanti or Pike.

If the new HC drafts Luck and then brings in a vet.....don't assume Clausen automatically is has a spot here under a new coach. Depending on the scheme Pike could beat out Clausen and put him on the streets.

Then Jerry would have to fire Fox and promote a coordinator. Fox will start Moore as he does give us the best chance to win this season. Fox wants wins.....Fox isn't part of this "rebuilding" and development thought process.

I believe we evaluate QBs about as well as we coach them around here.

I mean right now I could probably play QB for the Panthers and score 3 points off a turnover that puts you in scoring position.
