I'm still holding out faith in Godfrey. Yes he makes awful cuts at times, and that touchdown was entirely his fault, but he has dramatically improved since his rookie season. With a decent pass rush I think he will be very good

If it were just the dumping of older players, it probably wouldn't be this bad.

If it were just the owner and head coach not seeing eye-to-eye on salary and extension, it probably wouldn't be this bad.

If it were just the lame duck coaching staff, it probably wouldn't be this bad.

Add: Roster full of players hitting their prime and needing contract extentions with a lot of bonus. The cap cuts this season may even out with Beason, Kalil, JAMES ANDERSON, DeAngelo, Thomas Davis?

I think some more major cuts are on the way....this off season. Big Changes are on the way..financial as Jerry probally will pocket a huge profit this season...SUCK IT! PSL owners..as heard from his luxury box.

I mean can a brutha start a drive from out of the endzone? Clausen's first pass this season was when they were on the 1 yard line.

Also how about a quick WR screen? Smitty..LaFell, Gettis..give it to them on short routes and let them run. 7 step drops are not working. On a blitz against the Saints, Smitty was open on a slant but it was run way to deep and not in the open area underneath.

As always, no one creates a scheme to play to a players strengths and mask current weaknesses. If Buffalo can pass all over the place I know we can.

Our WRs must have two route trees they run. Slant and fly routes. Does a Coordinator have to have an "accident" for there to be changes

Are Charles Godfrey and Richard Marshall really that bad? I think so, but even in their cases I have to allow that the situation may make them look worse than they actually are. Could they look better with more pass rush? Maybe, but how likely is that to happen this season? Thus, we can't really get an answer to that question, can we?

Godfrey was bad in 2008 and 2009 and now in 2010. Yeah, he can hit on occassion and has good hands......everything else is bad and he isn't a starting S.
