 You're right Baschki... it's all cause our players suck and JR is the one who dropped the ball. No, we shouldn't mention it's Fox's job to put together this team and select the players, or that his gameplans are run, run, pass, punt. No, Fox is an incredible coach...

btw, can you name a specific time that Fox made an adjustment? Ever? I notice you ignored that question earlier.

Actually Fox doesn't select the players, but way to be ignorant. And yeah, his gameplan may be boring, but what do YOU propose they do when the passing game is so utterly horrendous? Pass more?

I didn't respond to the adjustment question because I'm in no position to make a judgment about that, and neither are you. Most adjustments coaches make aren't even noticeable to the casual fan. But yeah, I'm sure a veteran NFL HC is incapable of making adjustments .

This is just a horrible situation...I blame this on Delhomme though. :D Everything started with him!
That works... it's about as valid as anything else we have all posted.

Truth is, none of us know what's going on behind closed doors. What I view as the culprit, obviously isn't what others view as being so. I'll just be glad when Fox is gone next year, as that is my "biggest loser" argument this year.

And no, I won't be crying should we tank next year with a different coach, and I won't be wistful for Fox if he succeeds elsewhere. I can't stand the guy now, and will be glad to see anything different from our coaches/team when he's gone. About the only thing I'd cry over, is if JR keeps him on.. and the tears will flow profusely. :(

He doesn't put together or select the players. His gameplan is conservative. Can't do much with two unproven QBs and rookie WRs. We tried to get creative last week and lost 20+ yards.

WTF? I'm ignorant? Who then makes the decision genius?

Hurney has stated plenty of times that he just makes the deals, and Fox chooses who they go after. Oh.. JR decides who stays on the team?... riiiiight.

Your credibility just went from low to zero there chief. Coaches decide who makes the team, who they go after, etc. Even with a budget, Fox had the responsibility to go out and find low-cost FAs that he could win with. He works with the scouting department, I'm sure. If he doesn't, then he's an HC why again? If it were my product being displayed, I'd want a hand in selecting the staff to present that product, wouldn't you?

Yeah.. way to avoid the question. So, we should assume he makes adjustments, but doesn't select who will be on his team? Nice flawed logic there.

Wtf do you think the GM does? Sure, Fox has some input on what players they pick up, but it's primarily his job to coach the guys who show up, not find them.
