Final: Saints 34, Panthers 3

This might have been the most complete loss of the Carolina Panthers season.

But that's only because everyone participated.

The Panthers dropped a lifeless 34-3 decision to New Orleans Sunday, a game in which every available quarterback and running back played.

The Panthers lost starters Matt Moore (shoulder) and Jonathan Stewart (head) to injuries. RB Tyrell Sutton left with an ankle problem.

Backup QB Jimmy Clausen was benched in the fourth quarter, replaced by fellow rookie Tony Pike. Pike must have been late for a meeting, or done something else to make someone mad to deserve that treatment.

With just a field goal added to the 85 they walked in with, the Panthers are averaging 11.0 points per game.

They're on pace to score 176 points this season, which is 77 fewer than the previous franchise low of 253 in 2001.

At this point, they might call in Frank Reich to finish this one up.
