Skinner leads the team in assists with seven, followed by Jokinen with six. Staal leads the team in goals with four, followed by Skinner with five. Jeff Skinner has seemed to revitalize Erik Coles career as Cole leads the team in plus/minus with an eight. Cole has also scored three goals and chipped in five assists. Jussi Jokinen leads the team in Power Play goals with two and Jay Harrison leads the team in penalty minutes with 18. Staal and the very young and impressive Patrick Dwyer lead the team in shorthanded goals with one apiece. Finally, Jon Matsumoto leads the team in shot percentage with a very impressive 28.6%. The Hurricanes are 7-7 through 14 games and have never fallen over one game of .500 which is a good testimony to one of the NHL's youngest teams.
