Just because someone gets crushed on a big hit doesn't make that hit illegal.

You wouldnt know an obvious cheap shot if you saw it. A dirty player coached by a dirty d-cordinator takes out arguably our best offensive player on a illegal hit.

Thats what happened!

Show me that in the rulebook. This isn't true at all. Geez, people are so confused about the rules now because of morons on the radio blabbering about things that aren't even banned.

In 1980, the NFL placed greater restrictions on contact in the areas of the head, neck and face. Players were prohibited from directly striking, swinging or clubbing a player in the head, neck and face.

A player could be called for a penalty for such contact even if the initial contact was made below the neck area.

I think it qualifies as a "strike to the head".
