To be honest, I don't see much support for the Panthers outside of lower NC/upper SC, so to hold a game anywhere other than Charlotte wouldn't make much sense for ticket sales or the like.

I agree. It wasn't until right before the last game that I saw more Panthers than cowboy jerseys at the Champs in the Sumter Mall. I don't see much Panther support here in the midlands and BOA stadium is less than two hours from my house.

But then again, maybe a pre season game might help build more support throughout SC.

Hey, North Carolina has a professional basketball team but all anyone can talk about is UNC or Duke or Wake......you know, teams that actually know how to play basketball.

And to whomever it was that was saying why bring up london, I think that if the NFL can make the executive decision to take away a home game from one team per year (from the team and their PSL owners) in order to try and increase market share than what is so outrageous about suggesting a team play one game a year in a different state than where the home stadium is located in order to increase fan loyalty when the team claims to represent both states?
