Gah I worry they'd ruin it.  X-Files was the first show I fell in love with and I was pretty young when It came out but it was something my dad and I watched.  I thought the Scully/Mulder thing was great and nowadays they'd ruin it by making a love triangle somehow. 

 

Is it worth watching at this point?

 

I was/am not really into aliens and such, and I have never seen as much as 2 minutes of the show.

I think if you are a Sci-Fi fan you have to.  There was an overall mythology to the show but also what people ended up calling "monster of the week" episodes.  Lots of those were really good and freaky in themselves (probably a ranking out there).  I'd say watch them all, I revisited the show about 6 years ago but got a list of only "mythology" episodes and watched those.  However, I think soon I'm going to rewatch in full.   The Mulder/Scully relationship was well done.

Nebraska- the best movie you never heard of.

It was nominated for best picture so not that obscure.

However it was a great movie...it was laugh out loud funny throughout.

One of my favorites. If you are a Scorcese fan, which I am, you should definitely enjoy it.

 

I should tell you though, if you are easily offended, this film is probably not for you. But life is too short for all that, just enjoy the movie.

I started it.. Saw 2:59 running time and shut it down.

I mean i get it... Ponzi.... Drugs,sex then it stops.

However I am one of the few that finds Goodfellas "allright" so I just imagine this being more of the same but less Mafia more Wallstreet.

I will get to it eventually.

it's way different than goodfellas. it's an over-the-top raunchy comedy. it would we hard to not enjoy it imo.

Been watching The Fall, the Netflix series with Gillian Anderson. Great cerebral show, well-acted and deep characters. Enjoying it.
