Fox has half assed his philosophy his entire career. Instead of saying "we want to limit them to punts", he says "we want to limit them to field goals". Instead of saying "we want to have as many wins as possible" he says "we want to win 3 quarters of the season out of 4". Instead of saying "we need to score more touchdowns" he says "a punt isn't a bad play".

The Saints are such a one dimensional team. As goes Brees, so goes the team. When he's at his best so are the Saints, like last year.

This year, he's been throwing picks, so they're only 5-3...Other than Brees the team is a little above average, just like their #16 defense.
