I haven't been on in a while but occasionally look around to see what people have built. I've been on a pretty epic League of Legends Binge for the past week.

Also.. For those of you who know about the Piston Mod. Pistons are coming in 1.7. This is huge..

They are strange. I've been playing around with them. The way they provide power and the limits of them are not something you can just look at to figure out.

Which is an enigma of sorts. In a game where function is often visible and intuitive (like making a t-shape in your Crafting Table to make a pick, or an I-shape to make a sword), Redstone function is neither visible nor intuitive.

Here's a great tutorial that might help. I've not been playing much to try any of this (damn WoW bug bit again), but this video does help make some sense of what you can do with it.

Pistons look cool especially when it was shown for the castle.

I saw someone had made a fully functioning CPU a few months back. I think the RAM was really difficult and he only had about 8 bytes. He had programs for it and all. Another guy has started making simple games, like Pong and Donkey Kong.

When I started playing and read up on redstone on the wiki, I had nightmares of my college days when they started talking XOR gates and JK flip flops. I hated that crap.

It's not letting me login to find out. My invoice isn't due til 7/3 so I dunno what's up. I just paid it just to be sure. In the event it's messed up i'll just make a new one with mods.
