some of the survival stuff now is a little easier because of villages and sprint. I also think you punch wood faster than before. I got minecraft once it turned from alpha to beta (waited til survival MP was available) and even in groups it was hard to survive and get stuff before night. I'd say it's much easier now. Also, stay away from redstone until you get the hang of things. It'll make your head hurt >.<. I wish I knew electrical logic better.

Glad to help. Once you start getting a good number of supplies established, you can start exploring.

The world area is procedurally generated based on an effective 25,101,640 x 25,101,640 area (you can actually go further, but the game glitches to the point of crashing). There is literally more content available to explore or harvest than a single person could possibly explore or harvest in several lifetimes.

Or, you can start building... the only limit is your imagination of/in a square world.

Here's a pic of the tower I've created in survival mode.

Now that animal breeding is in the game, I'll be raising the surrounding water areas up to create animal farms soon.

Hey Rodeo... I've been pondering this since you posted it, looking for more info...

Apparently, the AI and spawning of Villagers is extremely unpredictable right now. There have been lots of posts on the MC forums saying that they wander off into oblivion or never spawn.

Looks like Testificate is just a place holder in almost every sense.

Incidentally, Pre Release 3 is out with Potions. Very cool stuff.

I just can't find any Netherwart, and exploring the Nether is such a painstaking process.
