These are great suggestions.

Biking is good because i can do this as corss training. Although i will spend a couple $k on bike stuff i bet

Paintball and fishing are good although i need to be around my computer generally.

Wife does all the remodeling :o:o:o

A bike repair kit and a $100 huffy from wal-mart could suffice short term.

Get a laptop then the computer is around you lol.. buy my suggestions were already taken. Id say paintball or rc cars, orrrr if you want you. Go my route and buy a racecar!! I plan on starting that hobbie this january.. and its not as expensive as you might think. Im getting my car fully race ready for 2k and that includes the trailor lol.. and im going to be racing a concord motorsports park which is local so no travel expense plus at cms its free to enter and on top of that you can win 500$ if you come in 1st!!

Hey cool My great uncle used to do that. had a secret spot and everything

I'm getting into it after a 40 year absence. (I found a rock with what I thought was gold, turned out to be Pyrite (Fools Gold) when I was 9 or 10. I was so excited, until I learned it was worthless. LOL)

I was watching the Outdoor Channel about a month ago and they have a show called "Gold Fever"! So I got it (Gold Fever) all over again. I have bought some pay dirt (dirt that other prospectors have just dug up) over ebay. I even panned it in my kitchen sink. Found some good sized flakes and 3 big nuggets. (They maybe Pyrite as well. I need someone with more experience than I have right now, to look at them.)

If I wasn't in this wheelchair, I might try my hand at getting a metal detector and working some land. (I have a powered wheelchair now, so I may get one and try it on level ground.) I joined GPAA (Gold Prospector Association of America) They have a Regional Chapter in Matthews. They meet in Monroe every second Wednesday. They take trips all over the Piedmont area and hunt for gold.

I have spare time on my hand, and I can't seem to find a part time job that I can really work at. (If I wanted to be a "lube technician" at Jiffy Lube, I'd have it made!) This seems like a good way to pass the time and I will get to meet other people interested in it. I might not get rich, but I think it will be fun!

Biking a lot cheaper then paintball, you can get a good hard tail MTB for $5-600 a good dual suspension for $8-1000, you can get a good road bike for $1200 and if you want to go a cheaper route just get a idea of what you want and search craigslist and search most bikes unless they are very high end dont hold their value so you could get one that's just a year old that would cost you half.

I don't know if they still have any or not but the Whitewater center in Charlotte NC(usnwc.org) was selling they're MTBs which they do every 2 years they had some $1500 dual suspension that were practically new for 6-700, I kinda doubt there's any left but it would be worth a call to get a great bike for almost nothing.

As far as training i have done that and much more. That gets me burnt pretty quickly though so later in 2011 I'll get some hours in

Okay I just didn't want you thinking it was some easy task because you've seen it on TV.

I have played in it twice and won a total of 6 seats. Gave an extra one to my old man and gave another one to a buddy that put us up in a house in Vegas for a month to play other events besides the main event. Sold the other two. It's a grind but a great experience.
