Interesting point of view from Sundays game

My recommendation would be that posters in fact watch the games before they comment on what happened in the game.

This thread appears to be a breakdown of the box score.

Jeez where did you get that idea? This thread still has it's value and there are other threads discussing the major points of the game in more detail if you prefer those.

It's not so much a box score recap but the OPs opinions on some big plays/drives/series throughout the game.

Mr. Scot commented he does this type of work as well.

I was actually just trying to be funny. I fail at it often.

I'm all about freedom of speech.

Actually it's the other way around. There was no pressure because Bradford made quick, short throws not that he made quick short throws because there was pressure.

"Gawd, I wish people would pretend they don't talk out of their ass."

Take your own advice.:skep:

Actually, the 3 step drop, short passing game negates the pass rush quite effectively.

So please, stop talking out of your ass.

Edit: to expand on that. We did have tight coverage also....but gotta credit bradford for making accurate throws into toght coverage.

Some people on here think Matt Moore is better than Sam Bradford, why I do not know!

You just said exactly what I said. There was no pressure because of the three step drops.

And our coverage was anything but tight. No QB completes 78% of his passes into "tight" coverage.

Obviously there as pressure, or the fear of pressure...otherwise the rams wouldn't have played small ball.

And our coverage was tight....but go ahead and quote the stats instead of stating the actual plays on the field. None of their receiver ran wild. But they did make their catches dispite the tight coverage. While they diodnt make many big plays, it was enough to over come their lack or rushing attack to keep the chains moving.

But quote your stats, as it makes ya sound so much smarter...right? No? Oh damn. So sorry.

I didn't think we had tight coverage on Sunday. If it was tight, I dont think he could have dinked and dunked so easily down the field. But they ran routes underneath, which is something we NEVER do. Why dont we run underneath routes? I never see anybody running across the field in front of the backers. Hmmm, let me guess. We have single back formation and he blocks. The TE has to block and the remaining 3 recievers are all running 15-20 yard routes downfield. It just doesn't make any ense to me.

How about the 2 yards TD when out outside linebacker was 6 yards inside and our safety was 6 yards deep in the endzone? That was such tight coverage I don't know how he had room to catch the ball and fall back into the endzone, we were all over him, right?

They were not afraid of our pressure, their offense is designed that way. But hey keep throwing and something is gonna stick.
