I don't care what QB you put in there. If you're not running the ball successfully and keep trying to throw these 15yd crossing routes, 15yd outs, and have your WR's doing double moves on go routes, you're gonna fail. The only way you can successfully compensate for the lack of a running game, is to throw short, safe, high percentage passes that allow your skill players to run after the catch. This tactic is not just for the WCO teams anymore.

and the only way to do that is to start putting more than 2 WRs on the field and out of these 2 WR sets which are our standard looks. Also helps the OL and numbers game.

Watch the games that have mattered. This year Matt, throws moore picks than anyone else if he started all games, as our # 1 guy at QB, has sucked bad! In the past we were out of it and he had nothing to lose. The only quality win of his pro career was the Vikings last year. The rest were mop up seasons.

Oddly enough, they did that a few times against the 49ers, and it worked. Heck, spreading things out could even help the running game because defenses can't cram everybody up in the tackle box if they have to cover more receivers.

Worst offense in the NFL and you run a flea flicker with poor pass protection on the first play... Then one pass was tipped and Smith bailed out on the last interception.

Seriously watch the game instead of just looking at stats. Moore's INTs were barely noticeable. None of the Delhomme moron throws we've been treated to the past decade.

Is that the fleaflicker that Moore could have hit the receiver on a bomb downfield for a TD, but instead lobbed it to Smitty underneath for a pick? Or was there a different one?

I've tried talking about what coaches look for on tape grading out players but no one wants to listen. Moore made one bad decision and that's all that will show up on tape.

Not one bit. I have respect for people that differ in opinion from me but actually know football and can talk about it. They have reasons for their opinions and can express those. They, unlike you, can make a post longer than 3 sentences with some substance behind it. I'd be happy to talk Moore with you but you can't have a discussion you just make stupid posts like the one above.
