Matt Moore sure was pissed off after that Rams game

Passing every down is the only logical thing to do. How much longer do we run into a halftime deficit?

The Panthers only looked good when they threw the ball every down. In fact I'd argue that the only time this team has looked good the entire season is when Moore is throwing the ball every down.

It's like everyone here says, Moore won't be here next year, neither will Fox. Stew and Dwill will be here. Why risk injuring those guys? Let's make Moore throw every down and we'll find out what Gettis and Lafell have and we'll also see what Smith has left.

Yea your right. Nothing like being one dimensional all game. Ha we will fool them.

Stats do lie. Anyone who knows sports knows this. There are a lot of reasons for the above situations.

Over an amount of time stats becomes a body of work. In the very short term they could lie. But when you get 4,5,6 games worth of stats, they then become very telling.

Stats might lie, but Moore sucks, anyone who is not his sister can see that.

Not sure he sucks. I mean does Stewart suck? does Steve Smith suck? Hard to really tell much in this clusterfizuck. We know the offense sucks but it is hard to tell what individual pieces are garbage.

There's also this thing called Matt Moore is the Greatest Person Ever. :biggrinjester:

He's the Mother Teresa of QBs, evenly distributes the ball between WRs, RBs, LBs, DBs, and even overnourished DTs.

Well apparently Smitty is the Gandhi, well except for that whole non-violent thing...

You people get so caught up in f*cking jock riding, you can't think clearly. Read all my posts about our players.

AGAIN. I DON'T GIVE A SH*T WHO IS OUT THERE AS LONG AS THEY WIN. I HAVE NO PERSONAL AGENDA OR INTEREST FOR ANY GUY TO PLAY OVER ANOTHER UNLESS THEY'RE HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE THE NEXT GUY - Like if we have Peyton Manning vs. Matt Moore.

Clausen and Moore are on equal footing because they have both played shitty this year, my point is the whole team sucks right now. Moore and Clausen aren't the only reasons for INTs b/c this team sucks.

So did Smitty not fumble 2 weeks in a row on key drives? Has he not been shown multiple times jogging on plays? Did he not draw a personal foul penalty 2 weeks ago that almost cost us as well?

The last INT didn't even matter, we already lost... I'm just saying look at the play. It looked to be an option route and Smitty had an open spot in the zone in front of the safety. Instead, he half heartedly gave a stutter and then jogged up field. Moore appeared to anticipate that Smitty was going to settle in front of the safety and threw it to that spot. Safety had an easy pick.

As far as Moore, he's f*cked up plenty himself where no blame can be placed on anyone but him (and maybe the OL), but the throws he makes in these circumstances are completely on him. As some have pointed out in the other thread, MM completely neglected an entire side of the field, TWICE, when Smitty was left wide open and most likely would've had a TD. No doubt, these were plays that Jake, even with his errant throws, made regularly before his decline - and that's the difference now. We don't have a guy that will make that easy throw for 6 to Smitty, but he'll try to force it to him when it's not there and throw a pick.

MM has shown a tendency to neglect an entire side of the field more than once this season and vs. STL was no different. It boggles my mind that even the average fan understands that if a blitz is coming heavy from one side, that most likely means there's going to be a guy open on that side. Just like in basketball, if someone is double teamed, then someone is open. Yet, MM never even looked to the side of the blitz and ran away from it, missing an easy TD to Smitty...

So, unlike many of the mindless jock riding douchebags that you may be accustomed to occupying these threads, I don't pull for the players - I pull for the team. I like some of our players, but it doesn't influence my observation and evaluation of their performance. If the guy sucks, he needs to be pulled, no matter the position.

The person who touches the ball every single play besides the center, sucks! He has gave the ball up 12 times and only scored it for us 5, not very good!

QB turnovers off a stat sheet are misleading. Doesn't account for turnovers that really are b/c of poor play at other spots.

Kitna threw 3 INTs on Sunday as Dallas got beat. He gets the credit and blame on a stat sheet....but he wasn't the reason for all of them.

I agree, now it's time for me to put on my Frank Reich jersey and remember the good times.
