Matt Moore sure was pissed off after that Rams game

They did what they would've done for any player, accept blame for him. Jake did it last year, that doesn't mean Jake didn't ever make mistakes. Teammates and coaches will take up for guys as well they should. Fox is taking up for him because he thinks Moore might get him to 4-12, when 2-14 is more realistic. Plus if Fox goes to Dallas he might try to bring Moore with him to back up Romo.

Smitty take blame for other players? What team have you been watching the last couple years? This is the same guy that said he wasn't going to help rookies unless they came to him. You can back peddle all you want now but people know what happened and tape doesn't lie.

P.S.

No one is defending the pick in the SF game.

I didn't make excuses for him. I pointed out what coaches look for when they watch tape, not what ignorant fans want to see. Tape doesn't lie, stats do.

How can you? If you go and rewatch the game sunday when he didn't even go thru progressions and left 2 TD's that Smitty would have easily scored on the field. And the last pick ya'll keep saying was Smitty's fault, the pass was 5 yards behind him. Smith turned around to try and break it up when the cb/safety, or whoever it was, passed him running wide open to catch it. You people need to watch the games. If your brains can't process it all at one time, record the game and wath it again. Matt sucks, thats the real deal

Because he hit his first progression for completions each time.

Now you want him to pass up on open receivers in hopes that Smith is open and if not come back and hope that the guy that was previously open is still open? Gotcha.

No, he didn't, he overshot Gettis and threw it out of the end zone while Smith had his hands in the air.

So you got a QB with the worst QB rating in the NFL.(55.7) and have scored the least amount of points(83). You have the second worst record in the NFL but all these stats are nothing but a lie?.........if it makes you feel better, OK!

Stats do lie. Anyone who knows sports knows this. There are a lot of reasons for the above situations.

Different play.

Maybe there were a lot of plays the primadonna threw his hands up then. I only remember the two and both of them were completions.

On one of them it was almost like he didn't know that after the ball was thrown the defender would leave him and he would appear "open."
