Matt Moore sure was pissed off after that Rams game

this thread needs to be locked.......simply pointless.....for the circumstances moore has done better then what i've expected.....with no running game a shotty oline and play calling from junior high i don't see how anyone can complain.

moore succes is when defenses fear the run, that was jakes main problem....when d will would tear it up jake still threw ints.....moore and clausen on the other hand had no running game and .2 sec in the pocket.......plus weren't we saying smith was running bad routes last year with jake under center????(dallas game)

By this logic, I guess Jake was the best offensive player on the squad last year.

Not hiding. Just no reason for me to post 20 times a day anymore. But he does managed to write a thread with some sense.

And he's right. Talk about interceptions taken out of context all you want. Anybody with any sense could see he was the most competitive player on that field for the first 3 quarters of the game while it still mattered.

fumbling bc your fighting for extra yards> throwing into triple coverage. not excusing smitty bc he made mistakes as well, but moore is beyond poo.i have never seen a fanbase hate their best 2 players like this one.(smitty and when pep was here)

actually they both are the same thing.......players trying to make something out of nothing out of desperation.

we are averaging 3.3 yards a run.....makes Carolina 31st in the NFL. Reality is Moore can't play it safe like so many of us want. Moore has to try to create something in the pass game.

Our best offensive player is Kalil not Moore. Can you imagine us playing without Kalil? I don't know if I could even watch that. Moore should not even be here next season. Hopefully, new management goes after a real QB option and let Clausen sit back/compete. I want a real QB, stop fuging around with all this play not to lose/ game manager bullshit.

I hope Moore was pissed at himself for throwing a ball right into the chest of the safety to seal the loss.

Oh come on now CatMan, you can't blame that on him after Smith takes the blame and Fox puts the blame on him.

I know you hate him, or are starting to hate him or whatever but that is an unfair statement and I expect that from LPF and Catdaddy, but not you.

Why should Beason get mad? He is leading a unit that is doing everything it can to win games. The D is 4th in total defense and probably play more snaps than any other defense in the league. They are also the 5th ranked pass defense and are 5th as far as YPC given up to opposing offenses. Beason and those guys are doing their jobs...they are every bit as good as they were last year.

Matt Moore is mad because he sucks and the offensive system he plays in sucks...

When did Moore throw into triple coverage against the Rams?

I don't blame Matt for a lack of effort.

I think he plays the position well. All else equal better than Clausen at this point.

What I blame him for is a clear lack of leadership.

This was HIS team this year. Not Clausen's, not Smith's, not anyone elses.

He set the tone along with the coaches through camp.

There was never a sense of urgency or any visible demonstrations of leadership.

It was alwasy "understated" or "calm" or "quiet"... as if those are admirable traits for a leader.

I thought Matt played a great game against SF but it was exactly "who he was". A non-leader who can play the position as a game manager when the pressure is off but is not going to be the personaility to take a team to the super bowl.

I think that Moore is an ideal backup in this league and I don't say that in a negative way. He can come in and move a team down the field when his number is called. He will be in the league a long time and will make a lot of money.
