We are beating ourselves

A lot of people blaming coaches

Its not the coaches, its the players, we are not getting the job done right now offensively. We have struggled from day 1 offensively and a lot of the things that are losing games are things we are doing to ourselves.

We can make these changes and start winning, I don't understand how it keeps happening.

How frustrating is it watching from the sideline knowing u could help them but you are injured?

A lot different than a fan watching, knows what we are capable of, sees it week in and out in practice. No words for what we are doing right now, its disgusting.

For me and Otah, we are still a part of the team, we aren't on IR, don't feel that separation you feel on IR b/c he can still go to meetings, watch practice, get involved, help younger guys.

Teammates are excited about the possibility of him returning, concerned about injury, don't want him to get hurt again, wifey worried about him returning this year, but sees the effort he is putting in to get back on the field, knows he won't go back out if he isn't ready.

Says we don't need Moss. He will play the way he wants to play, and that's not how it goes when you are in a team setting, and that's what gets you released.

What do you think about people saying Beason is lacking in performance?

Jon Beason is the new Peppers. All the attention is on him and putting guys on blocking him, this is helping James Anderson to have these great plays. Gets frustrating for Beason b/c now teams are running right at him and its tough adjusting to that.

Lets say you come back in 2-3 weeks, do you know what the plan is? Does everyone return to old spots?

As well as our LBs have been playing, they are having a great year, we might have 3 of the most productive LBs in the league right now. We will see what the coaches decide to do.

Whats the deal with your contract? Has it been a factor in your mindset?

A very small factor. Tough being a FA not having played for so long. Wants to prove it retuning to the game this year, but main focus is getting back with teammates building that brotherhood.

What are your feelings on CBA?

That is something we have no control over, owners making their own decisions, do what we do, and that’s playing football. If we don’t we are going to work our butts off in the offseason

Does it make you angry they want to spin it around and blame the players for the CBA argument?

Sad we can’t get an agreement that works for both sides, I think they should be able to come to an agreement before it comes to a lockout

100%- HELL YEAH TD!

Only setback would be pain in his knee

Done a lot of cutting, straight ahead, the difference would be actually going against someone and competing, doing unexpected things around people who could hit you at every angle.

If Otah were in, do you think we could have won more games so far? Does this downward spiral have an affect on the players having motivation?

You don’t ever have to worry about this team giving up, we fight to the end. These games come down to the 4th quarter. A guy like Otah could have made a world of difference for our running game, we have 2 great RBs, we just need the holes made.

Saying TD is his big brother. Tells Beason hes tryin to let all these fans know that we aren’t giving up, we are gonna plug away till the end.

What is it with the LBs having shows? Holdin it down?

We are the oldest group here, like to talk and let the fans know we are keeping the ship going.

Mac To Beason: As a fan of this team, I thought your production in numbers would be better in TDs position, are you disappointed in it?

That position requires a lot more discipline, have to make a lot more changes, but other guys are playing well. Do your job and when its your turn to make the play, you do it. Again, talking about how James A. is getting more plays with the attention put on Beason.

I feel comfortable, not like I don’t know whats going on, but Conner is doing great job at mike, Anderson too, what im doing requires extreme discipline as opposed to the Mike and being everywhere.

Do Beason and TD still think the team can make the playoffs?

TD-110% we can make it if we eliminate all these mistakes we are hurting ourselves with. When we watch film we see those mistakes that you see when you are watching the game at home. The way the NFC looks, we can still have a chance.

Beas- I agree definitely. Have so many new faces, getting better every week, hopefully we can get on a run and be more consistent. Very frustrating when you watch the film the next day.

Mac- says everyone calls them homers when they say they can still make the playoffs

Beas- it’s a game about the fans and they want to be right, we are working hard and trying our best.

TD- We are putting the effort in week in week out, eliminating mistakes.

I don’t have a good explanation, he is the owner, he makes the decisions. As a player, you don’t question the boss, you just go out and compete to win games.

What is your response to fans saying you’re (Mac) horrible on your show and you are retarded b/c you are giving us false hope. What do you say to those fans who want us to lose games to get the good draft pick? The people who have given up?

That’s disgusting, it’s sickening. YOU ARE NOT A FAN IF YOU THINK THAT. Why would you want us to lose? We put too much work in to go out and just lose purposely. You don’t see the amount of work that goes into trying to turn this thing around. We are there from 7:30am to 5pm working our butts off.

If you were in a room full of these people could you turn them?

I would be extremely disappointed and I don’t think I would have a lot to say to them.
