The drama over the Moss waiver and the rumblings that Brad Childress has lost the Vikings locker room have led to speculation that Childress might soon become unemployed.

Should that happen, guess who likely gets the "interim head coach" job?

If the Vikings decide to hand the coaching reins over to Leslie Frazier, then it's be a fairly safe bet that come next season, they'd drop that "interim" tag. That would, of course, remove him from being a candidate for any other open head coaching job, including the one in Carolina.

So if you're a fan of Leslie Frazier coaching Panthers next season, you'll probably want to pull for Brad Childress to keep his job. I'd be highly surprised to see Frazier get the interim job this year and not be made permanent next year.

Chilly is gone next season. extension or no extension. The Vikings want a new stadium and need to win NOW. Chilly has successfully pissed off Vikings Management, and a good portion of the lockeroom. They better beat Green Bay sunday, or its over.

The only real reason I can see getting him is that he Prob would keep Meeks.

Any other coach is prob going to clean house.

A dominant DLine makes the DCs job a million times easier.

And I'd rather have an offensive coach, Meeks has done well with the defense.

Even if he's not fired mid-season, it's no stretch to think that the Vikings could fire Childress once the season is over and hand the job to Frazier.

From Frazier's perspective, you'd have to think it'd be easier. No hoops to jump through, no need to pick up and move, players already know the system, etc.

My personal opinion: I think one way or the other, Leslie Frazier is off the market.
