Fox Isn't Worried About Employment, Distributes Blame, Stew Calls Out Offensive Line

[...] and make stupid one line comments because they have nothing to back up their opinion (Thanks Mrs Cleo).

It wasn't because I had nothing to back up my opinion; I just wanted to call you Miss Cleo.

I wonder whatever happened to her?

I'm glad you have reason to believe what you do but if you saw how Smith was acting all game, it's not a stretch. He literally threw his hands up and froze every time the ball wasn't thrown his way if he was open, even if the ball got completed elsewhere. You could tell he wasn't happy with the way the game was going and it looked like he was disinterested in that play.

I'll take your word for it. I wasn't pulling the statement out of my ass despite how it looked. If he did indeed act as such then it's surprising to me (which would explain why I would question your opinion).

I could just do like most people here and argue with you and not be honest. I admitted I didn't see the game (or the play in question) and I remain honest with you. That's a lot to be said considering some of the arguements I've had on here with people who just can't be reasoned with (now that I think about it, it probably had something to do with them not watching the games either).

I didn't mean to make it seem like that. I think if he was staring down Smith the whole way he would've seen he wasn't focused and gone elsewhere or Smith would have known the ball was coming to him and not lost focus.

It seemed to me that Smith was supposed to cut in, like those skinny posts they have connected on so often, and when he didn't it hit the defender in the chest. It wasn't those "floaters" he's accused of on deep balls so I don't think it was supposed to be a streak.

The thing that bothers me and why I get so fired up is because people take those 3 picks and run with them. The first one was bad, no doubt. He probably tried to make too much of a trick play and should have thrown it away or taken the 20 yard sack :(. The second one his arm got hit as he threw and the ball went straight up, those things happen it's not like he made a bad read or a terrible throw. And the third one can arguably be put on his receiver.

I think coaches look into this stuff deeper and overall I bet Moore graded out pretty well and I would like it if fans did too. It would make for better discussions instead of one liners and pictures.

Kitna threw 4 picks but how many were his fault?

I can't imagine Moore graded well at all. Maybe "average" at best, but he did absolutely nothing to move the offense outside of two drives AND he turned the ball over. Ultimately, Jake didn't "grade as horrible" to the coaches as he did to the fans and we saw where that went. Maybe Moore didn't grade as poorly as we grade him (and likely not) but let's be realistic: even if he did grade horrible, what other option do we have?

You can have freak interceptions. Every QB has 'em. But you don't have 10 freak interceptions in so few games. =| It'd be one thing if this was his only 3 turnover performance or something, but it wasn't. Still, I'm not throwing him under the boss; he looked terrible but I really do hope he can rebound.

The route and stuff, you are probably right, I can't get a good look at the play to decide. What I saw on live TV looked like a terrible play, that's all I can say.

I haven't seen the game at all nor any highlights, but I have to imagine at least some of them were.

Haha I say this same thing and I have Mav and Dockery all over me, even after Dockery admitted to not watching the game. I'm going to PM you all of my thoughts from now on and have you post them and see if they get different responses.

He threw the ball 5 yards behind Smitty, and to a spot where 4 Rams players were at!

3 of them went right through receivers hands, literally there is no debate about it. I think that's the attitude a lot of people on here have. Oh it's a pick I'd imagine it's Moore's fault.

And I didn't try and defend all 10 of his picks but if you look back there are some "freak" circumstances.

0 in the first game.

0 against Tampa

2 against Chi (Off Armanti's leg/arms/hands and a throw away ball with basically no time left on the clock)

0 against SF (even though that was a "freak" play)

2 against STL

The fans can interpret those any way they want but from experience, coaches do not see 10 picks and think that's the end of it. They do not hold those against him because they understand situations and so on and so forth.
