Fox Isn't Worried About Employment, Distributes Blame, Stew Calls Out Offensive Line

Haha I say this same thing and I have Mav and Dockery all over me, even after Dockery admitted to not watching the game. I'm going to PM you all of my thoughts from now on and have you post them and see if they get different responses.

I said I didn't see Smith quit and though I think he tried to recover if he did, maybe he did. He did admit after the game to a lack of focus. If you, like Proudiddy, are saying Moore shouldn't have thrown the ball even if Smith didn't finish his route and had to play catch up, I'd agree.

Can't blame Stew for being angry. He's taking heat from all around, and he's obviously unhappy with how he is playing. It's one thing if you're piling on the yards but losing due to turnovers, another entirely when your offense just blows and you're part of the problem.

I feel bad for Double Trouble :( our OL needs to fix itself fast.

Why is it Williams is averaging 4.2 yds PC behind the same line and keeps his mouth shut?

Williams is a rare breed of athlete that is extremely humble. He also can move laterally well enough to make up for the line's shitty blocking. Stewart breaks tackles by building up some steam. Williams can break tackles in any situation. If williams gets caught behind the LOS there is a good chance he can keep the play from going negative, a small chance he can get 3-4 yards, and a tiny chance that he'll break it for a long run.

Stewart gets caught behind the line he's going to go down 1-2 yard from first contact. He he's a north-south runner but behind this line he's not getting any further than the Mason-Dixon Line.

I just said you were making a stretch, bud.

I would appreciate it if you didn't bring me up in other threads. Leave that where it started.

I will admit I'm a Smith fanatic, and I might jokingly say I'm a homer, but in reality I know he has flaws and I acknowledge them. I don't try to cover up anything. Yeah, he has a bad attitude sometimes. Yeah, he has made mistakes (big mistakes off the field). He has made some mistakes on the field that have contributed greatly to losses (I'm thinking of the past two games).

What more do you want? I just think you were making a leap with your statement in the other thread.

Somehow I think Otah is just milking his injury. I have never seen a knee scope take this long. Hell I had two in one year and recovered faster.

I couldnt agree more. This is probably the 1 guy that we absolutely NEED to play, and somehow it's taking FOREVER to get his big rear-end back. Get back on the freakin team, or send your butt to IR.

How can you call me out and say I'm making a leap when you didn't watch? I don't care that you didn't watch, I'm sure you had a legit reason(no sarcasm) but if you didn't watch you shouldn't be commenting on individual plays that happened. You can comment on the team, the coaches, the overall play, etc but specific plays I don't think so.

Follow me here.

Moore has thrown 10 picks this year, has he gotten that mad (since you didn't watch, Moore got real heated and ran off the field yelling at anyone who was near him) after any one of them?

Then they showed a replay where Smith was jogging/running and occasionally looking over at the sideline.

Moore looks left/middle then comes back to the right and throws and Smith barely has time to react.

Fox says all the picks aren't on Moore. Proudiddy makes the same observation. Steve says he played a terrible game. I point all this out and I'm making a "leap" to you. Got it.

If you don't want to get called out in other threads, don't make asinine statements of things you don't know about.

Work. :(

I point all this out and I'm making a "leap" to you.

Accusing a player of just giving up on plays is a pretty big accusation (remember when Harris and Gamble did so last year?).

If you don't want to get called out in other threads, don't make asinine statements of things you don't know about.

I based my reply on my knowledge of Smitty and the video that was posted. It's not like I'm a Rams fan who knows nothing about the team or the player.

He might have been an idiot and caused the INT (I don't care), but I still don't think it is wise to make assumptions (you have some evidence for your case but it isn't solid).

And that doesn't give you a license to "call me out" in other threads. I've done the same a few times to others and apologized to them not long after I did so. It is immature and it just shows you are irritated (with me).

I'm 100% irritated with you. It's not as much your fault individually but I've had a few debates on here then people admit to not watching the games and so on and make stupid one line comments because they have nothing to back up their opinion (Thanks Mrs Cleo). If you would just state your opinion we could discuss it and you wouldn't get called out. I'm glad you have reason to believe what you do but if you saw how Smith was acting all game, it's not a stretch. He literally threw his hands up and froze every time the ball wasn't thrown his way if he was open, even if the ball got completed elsewhere. You could tell he wasn't happy with the way the game was going and it looked like he was disinterested in that play.

You make it sound like the play was slow developing, it wasn't... he may have stopped running full speed, but he picked back up and was right in the play when it was intercepted. It may have been Smith's fault for quitting, but it's not like he just STOPPED The route like another WR did that day. If he had looked where he was throwing the ball even for a moment he would have noticed what Smith was up to, but Moore (and others too) have a tendency to lock onto him and toss it to him when coverage is good.

but you're right, a lot of it probably DOES fall on Smith. I don't think Moore shoulda thrown it but Smith didn't give that play his all. "lack of focus" as he said I think, heh.

edit: Totally agree about Smith's attitude. At the same time, there were 2 plays where he was as wide open as freaking possible and Moore went some place else. It's funny, our QBs miss him when he's retardedly open, but often throw it to him in good coverage :( No excuse for him being so whiney about it though. Also, I watched the game but I do not recall seeing a replay of smith jogging or stopping; maybe not running at full speed after he left the line of scrimmage, but I do remember he was right there when the INT came in, though he didn't look for the ball (which, IMO, was the bigger problem, more than any route running issue)
