Desmond - first season...

"see you in another life brother" - said that to EVERYONE, before the island.

"we're all in a snowglobe" - as he proceeded to get drunker.

I think that Desmond knows lots of things about what's going on and if he doesn't figure prominently at the end I'll be disappointed.

Still confusing to me, I hate the baby steps of getting into this season. I do know think that Ben is just pure EVIL.

Ben is definitely out for himself, and has some plan on getting to the island again and exploiting it. Probably why he was surprised to hear that lady was Faraday's mother, since he probably knew Faraday and Widemore had a connection.

I think Widemore may be better than Ben, but both are pretty evil, so no good guys. Richard may be a good guy and just trying to protect the island. Who knows.

I've been not feeling well so I just watched the last episode tonight.

Shocked the sh*t out of me when Sawyer is shown holding a rope coming out of the ground. :eek:

Did anyone get the Alice in Wonderland reference at the end? Locke ends up falling down the rabbit hole much like Alice. And Christian Shepard sooooo reminded me of the Chesire Cat. Giving directions and advice but making it confusing and not answering directly. Not able or willing to help Locke. And that smile! Ugh! Unfortunately my copy of Alice in Wonderland is not in my house. And I really wanted to look up the conversation between Alice & the Chesire Cat and see where Alice ends up next.

And there was something very familiar about the scenery around Faraday & Charlotte. Both times when they came back to them they started the camera from far away so we could see the scenery. They didn't give us that type of camera shot too often over the 5 seasons. And at the end of their last scene we get a long camera shot from the other side that shows a creek.

I don't know what to say about the smoke monster. Gruesome. Poor Danielle. Was that the temple? If it is, how can the Others go there in season 4 and not be killed by the smoke monster? Security system? Uh.

The O6 & Ben & Desmond? And Mrs. Hawking? I know I've heard that line before but I can't remember where. "Well, it will have to do." And Ben looked as surprised as I've seen him when Desmond mentioned Faraday's mother. Hmmmmmmmmmmm

And the island is spinning out of control because Ben turned the wheel so it ended up off its axes????? rofl! Gyroscope

But I ended up like this :ack2: when it was all said & done because now I have more questions swirling in my head then ever.
