Lost!!!!!

Here's some game changing questions.

If Locke was a candidate why didn't Jacob make him protector as soon as he landed on the island? Locke was drinking the island kool aid from day 1.

If Jacob chose the candidates because they were flawed and alone then why did he approach Kate and Sawyer when they were kids?

Why is Micheal trapped on the island but Sayid isn't?

Locke needed to be tested like everyone else.

Kate and Sawyer were loners from a young age. Kate wanted to run away all the time, Sawyer had just lost his parents.

Michael murdered innocent people on the island for his own personal good.

What makes you think anyone needed to be tested? Early on it might have seemed that way for some people but certainly not Locke.

Unless I missed something there's nothing to suggest they were loners when they were young. Kate's turning point happened when she was in her early twenties and I doubt Sawyer was conning people when he was 10.

Sayid murdered and tortured people his entire life. Both gave their lives to redeem themselves.

Um, Locke said several times, himself, that the island was testing him.

Kates parents were divorced when she was 5. Sawyer's parents had just died. That usually makes one feel a little lonely.

Sayid did, and he got a chance to fix himself on the island. Everyone did bad things on the island, but he never killed anyone in cold blood.

I found something very interesting. Someone edited the entire Lost series and put it in Chronological order. Everything is done in real time as in the way Jacob would have seen it. So Across the Sea is the first episode with one of the time flashes from season 5 at the end. Episode 2 is the Richard Ep with the Jacob MIB scene from the Incident in the middle. It is really cool, and a neat new way to enjoy Lost. He has released 9 ep so far, and plans on 2 per day. It will finish with the flash sideways.

That is pretty cool. My wife and I plan to rewatch all six seasons this summer, so maybe we'll do it in this manner.

Been watching a few of these. It is very strange, because during the time flashes the characters are so random. Things happen so out of order yet so in order. I think I created a time loop or alternate reality just thinking about this. lol It is a very entertaining way to rewatch Lost though. He is including all the mobisodes that were released, and he is also going to include the extra scenes from the season 6 DVD. Rumored to be an off Island scene with Walt, and a Ben, Hurley Island scene plus a few more added to the special features DVD. Episode 9 starts all the Character flashbacks, and I am guessing the next few will be all off Island before the Losties get on the plane.

    • Super raw, not sure he is worth a top 10 pick.  Primary a pass rusher.  A bit like Burns, very fast athletic but doesnt always follow the play.  His highlights look good but when you watch him play you can see he is just raw and needs to develop
    • Personally, I am not sold on Bryce yet--and I do not think anyone is saying they are, but I don't think Ward is on table when we draft anyway.  Not even sure if I would rather have him than one of the later QBs.  I see a lot of potential in Allar, Nussmeire, Rourke, and even Hamilton from Ohio State--Milroe is intriguing, but I am not sure he is an NFL QB.  Ewers is that sleeper who falls and becomes a solid starter. I think that we sign a veteran who has played and we draft one of these project QBs. To your point:  With that in mind, I think you have to take QB off the table in round 1, and if Bryce can string 4-5 games like KC together, we still need to draft a QB in round three or so---I really think Rourke is a great fit for this offense--he is accurate and gets the ball out quickly---he impressed me vs OSU.   Reason?  I think we may have a tough decision to make about Bryce in 2 years--will he be worth $60m?  That decision is a lot easier if you have been grooming a backup for 2 years who can play. In round 1: I am hoping for PSU's edge Abdul Carter In round 2:  I would like to see us grab a DT who can rush the passer.  Walter Nolen of Ole Miss is versatile and a bit raw. I think he could be an excellent complement to Brown. In round 3:  I would love ILB Danny Stutsman from Oklahoma.  He is a beast. With 11 picks, I would package our 4th rounders to move up into the third round and take a QB.  At the moment, I think Rourke is trending upward and he has the skills Canales seems to want in a QB.  Quick processor, quick release. I would use the fifth rounders on OL.  I know that I left out WR--however, we are getting Thielen back, XL will be improved, Coker will be improved, and Moore has been surprisingly good.  Sanders (TE) has been more than expected in the passing game.  I think we need D more than WR, and maybe we can get a veteran WR to sign or find a hidden gem late.
    • Wouldn't be surprised if he starts a couple Jets games this year with the way the Rodgers thing is going. Giants fans are pissed they didn't keep him lol. He might actually have a little bit of a market.
