I've often wondered during all of Jack's comments to Kate about putting things back to where the original plane crash never happened - why she doesn't do things to sabotage it. She was with an air marshal on her way back to the states to face murder charges.

The most significant thing I saw in this episode was the conversation between Jin and Richard Alpert. Jin showed him the Dharma photo of all the losties and asked him if he remembered them.

Blew my mind when he said "Of course I remember them, I watched them all die".

Well, thats if the incident occurs at all. Which I think it likely will. And they may not get off. You have to keep in mind everything has changed now that the future losties have revealed themselves. Daniel said it earlier that everything that's happening now is their present, and that "anyone can die". So it's quite possible that Widmore and Farraday could now die, which would change the future, much like using the bomb.

The dude that went with Ellie and Richard died. He's not an important character, though. But Daniel also said you couldn't change anything, but he then changed his mind about that. I see what you are saying, but I think most of what Daniel originally said has now changed if he thinks he can completely alter the past.

that random guy always died then though....he was never established at a later point in the LOST timeline. Daniel changed his mind and thought he COULD change things and that is why he went to Richard and his mother.....but that turned out to be what always happened. He always thought he could change things, he always sent to the Hostile camp and that always led to his mom killing him.

Yeah it's hard, I usually let it go about 30 minutes in but last week I watched it live and it lasted longer (obviously) but didn't make it feel like it ended too fast.
