Lost!!!!!

Think it still goes back to the bible. Locke couldnt commit suicide but he needed to die Ben knew this and took actions in his own hand. The island might not be purgatory it is just the place for the final battle between good and evil.

^^^^This. And notice how Locke is walking okay on the island. lol Ben couldn't say, "John I have to kill you now. You can't do it yourself." lol

And UGGGHHHHHHHHHHH my dvr rebooted at the point that Widmore was talking to Locke. So not only did I lose watching 10 minutes of the show but I also don't have it recorded now. It came back just when Widmore was walking away from the table.

I think both Ben & Widmore are lying to everyone. The only one I trust is Desmond. :D

No wonder Sayid was paranoid. Everyone was watching the O6. And Sayid and Sun took the 3rd canoe?! Unfortunately we know she's not in the right time period to see Jin.

I wasn't surprised that Abbadon (sp) showed up nor, of course, that he was Widmore's man. I also wasn't surprised he was killed. He's a regular on Fringe. And doing a good job there.

I'll have to watch it online this weekend. I can't wait until next week to see what I missed.

It was damn good to see Walt again. :)

The shot of the plane that they showed last night looked like the plane landed on top of trees...it didn't really look like a runway to me

Ceaser and Alana...I don't like them..they have to be "working" with someone..Widmore maybe..they seem way too calm to have just crashed on an island

it Was Frank and another "woman" we don't know who she is..Sun is a good guess though.

and as for the wrong time period..I would think they'd all be in the same time period..I could be wrong, but I think the island wouldn't change periods for different people...who knows with this show though

Thing that's odd is, Whidemore has a camera on the Tunisa place, but why didn't he have it there when Ben landed there? What made him, in 3 years, put it there, and how did he find it? Doesn't make sense.

No it all makes sense, if you remember from a few episodes back when Faraday spoke to Desmond in the past, he didn't have that memory (or at least recall it) until far in the future. It seems as though if you change the past for someone, they don't have that memory or experience until their timeline reaches the point at which the you jumped back in time... if any of that makes sense.

In any case, Whidmore didn't have a recollection of John Locke being on the island and possibly jumping off and landing in that spot in Tunisia until after Ben got off the island because that memory didn't appear for him until after Ben was off the island (which is what caused Locke to be time jumping and meet past-Whidmore).

This whole time travel thing gets really, really confusing.

Just ignore what he said completely. He's comparing Desmond who we already know is special to Whitmore. The same rules do not apply and even if they did his explanation really makes no sense.

Time travel in Lost is a very simple premise that they laid out in the first few episodes this season.

When the Losties flash back to the past your seeing what has already happened in time. So their actions don't change anything in the future. Time is still just one big straight line.

The only exception to that rule is Desmond for reasons we already know and have seen in cases such as his saving Charlie multiple times, his mind jumping through time while on the heli/freighter, and him remembering something in the future once Faraday was to the point in his life that he traveled to the past and talked to him.

My DVR rebooted, too. Same time period. Went from talking about the boat that was used by survivors to Widmore talking to Locke in BFE. Mine automatically restarts recording, so that's the only part I missed. DirecTV. What about you GRWatcher?

Yep, DirecTV. My dvr didn't restart the recording but it's an old one, from back when you had to buy them from DirecTV and they were selling TiVo's.

I still have to take the time to watch online what I missed. I don't remember seeing anything about the plane.

Well here we go. Your new leader is Jim/James Sawyer/LaFleur. He does it well too. More decisive than Jack or Locke and takes responsibility for his actions. And he never stopped looking for the rest of his "crew". :) I enjoyed tonight's episode, giving us some Dharma history. Juliet has softened some too. Wonder who the boy is that was just born.

So Kate is back to mess things up again. That's what she does best. Wouldn't bother me one bit if she left the show. I don't like her.

Wonder if Locke & Ben & Frank are in 1977 too? (1974 last time flash + 3 years) The Hydra station could've been abandoned because they needed to be behind the sonic wall for protection from the Hostiles.

Did anyone else notice how much gray hair Miles has, even in 1974?

And how that "well" wasn't dug but had a ring of stones around it?

And we got a shot of the statue!!!!!!!!!!! Even if it was from the back.

Hot chicks always mess things up :)

so the headache part for me is when the 6 show up at the island again they went back in time to 1977. Why? I know on the island the "song is playing" on that year...i guess when they got zapped off the plane they shifted thru time as well as space.

Now, what about the other people on the new plane? 1977 for them too? When the the guy and the girl week before last were looking thru dharma documents wasn't the station old and messed up?
