3 busts in 2 years of the draft that will hurt a while

How would our undersized DEs like Everette Brown and Hilee Taylor fare as 3-4 OLBs? It was mentioned that Brown is too small for a 4-3 DE, but he looks like a perfect 3-4 OLB. Same goes for Hilee. Too small for a 4-3, but no denying the kid has a knack for getting to the QB.

Funny you should mention Stewart because he too was not worth what we gave up for him IMO. Otah as well if he keeps this injury business up.

As far as Capt, Hayden, and Godfrey they are sketchy at best (Martin I do like however). Goodson its too early to tell. Its not like we have the Colts FO there good not great.

Stew is a beast. Do not blame his lack of production on anyone other than the OLine.

Williams looks like poo behind this OLine as well.

The Big Uglies should be required to turn in their Man Cards this season...they are playing like a powderpuff team.

Honestly, no one's ever considered a "bust" until they are in the NFL for 3-4 years. QBs hardly ever play spectacular until their 2nd or 3rd year (Manning wasn't that great during his rookie season)...for the last time, Edwards was drafted as a "project".

I'm not asking him to play spectacular, I just want him to take a fuging snap without fumbling it.

That's what I was thinking brown may IMO isnt a bad player, he's just in the wrong system.

Beason is playing out of position for reasons god only knows why, don't confuse who is better because it's not close.

Anderson has been pretty darn good at both outside LBer position in the last two years or so. Don't sell him short, because he is a pretty darn good player right now, regardless of what Beason is doing or has done.

Anderson, Davis, Godfrey, D. Williams, Johnson. All of these guys took a few seasons before they broke out. Give the kids a f*cking chance. We have All-Pros on our team that look like ass this season, so you sure as hell can't judge the careers of 1st and 2nd year guys based on this mockery of a football season.

from what I remember during the draft Brown was thought to be a better fit in a 4-3..I remember Mayock saying he is a RE in 43 defense and certain teams did not see him as a 34 OLB..because of his size and he did not look fluid in OLB drills.

The biggest thing that is bugging me right now is the moves we've made in the draft these past 2 years, 2 picks I considered straight up bone head 1 has a potential to hurt, but the first two look to be devistating.

1, traded this years first for Everett Brown in the 2nd, straight up bust this is by far our worst pick in the fox and hurney era, with that said this is no knock on brown he's done everything we've asked, problem is he's just not big enough for DE in a 4-3 scheme.

2, Edwards this one keeps getting worse with the worse the panthers play, you think Edwards is worth the 34th pick in the 2011 draft because right now that looks to be where we will be picking. Bust with insult to injury.

3, this one remains to be seen but Jimmy Clausen can't even handle a snap right now, seriously WTF? If he can't handle a snap Edwards is looking like a better option at QB then him.

And lastly I typed this from a iPod in the middle of nowhere in Australia so excuse the bad grammar and what not.

Troll bait.

So what does that say about Beason then? He can only play best at MLB? And if Anderson were at MLB, his stats wouldn't be as good? Why do fans on here take sides all the damn time? It's fuging retarded. Both men are amazing LBs, period! Stop acting butt hurt because someone says Anderson is better than Beason this season. It's not a diss on Beason. Jesus fuging Christ.

Can we PLEASE stop this stupid excuse!

Anderson = Buried behind veterans

Davis = Put at multiple positions since day 1. Played nice when we put him at his natural postion of WLB

Godfrey = Started since day 1

D.Williams = Buried behind veterans

Johnson = Buried behind veterans

Most of these guys were buried by our idiot Coaching staff that would ride a veteran for 2/3 years too long. That's the only reason why they took a "few seasons".

Clausen = Going through what many ppl feared this season...Fox is ruining him. Not a bust though.

AE= Can't get on the field, if we draft A.J. Green or sign a WR FA while keeping Smith...he will get cut...likely bust in the making, but not a bust.

E.Brown = Bust as of now

It's that simple, guys

Honestly I think Anderson could have started a season or two ago. He's a really talented player and I think some people forget that because of his draft status. Beason isn't racking up stats because as TD said this morning it has to do with offenses scheming for him. It's part of the reason that Anderson is making so many plays. Even so Beason is still like #11 in tackles right now.
