I hated the Clausen pick, and have disliked him since his limo arrival to ND.

Still, I realize now that Moore is just not the guy who is going to turn this team around. We have seen the ceiling of his NFL abilities. With Clausen, at least there is still the sometimes legitimate excuse that he is a rookie.

I'd rather see Clausen get the ball for the rest of the season. That way we'll have a much better idea of whether or not he's got NFL potential. If he's going to suck and never make it, that's fine, I just want to know it for sure before we have a top five draft pick...you know? We can't learn that with him sitting the bench, and watching Moore's mediocrity isn't helping anyone.

3rd round pick is a backup QB and not a bust IMO. If we draft AL next year, I will be nervous as hell. For every Stafford there are 10 Rusells out there who can set this franchise and our future coach and GM back for years.

Gonna have to clean house ay QB. If they don't want Moore back they will certainly have to bring experience. And I hate to break it to you but Pike will be out of the league in a couple of years and Clausen will be a backup. No way that kid makes it as a starter in the NFL.
