Richardson has by design put a losing product on the field. Does he really have a plan to make this team a perennial power house in two to four years or is he really just in it for the money. At one time i thought we had one of the best owners in the league and right now it's hard not to be frustrated with the guy.

Yeah, I tend to not completely change my opinion on a person when they have a history of great success and give them the benefit of the doubt. Let's see what he does this off-season before we declare that he is trying to kill the franchise.

if the CBA gets signed and jerry goes on a free-agent spending spree the team will be a trendy superbowl pick by the national media and panthers fans will be happy again. jerry has got to be hoping for this scenario.

I don't think JR cares about NOW as much as people think. The Carolina Panthers are his child, he's doing what's best for his child's future. Even if he doesn't live to see it.

I just try to think about all the glorious cap room we'll have next season.

Just because he says he wants mold the Panthers after the Steelers, doesn't mean he actually is. Saying is one thing, doing is another.
