Is there anyone that still cares about this season?

Yeah, how many super bowl wins do we have? How often are people excited about our team in the beginning of the year compared with them? They have crazy talent, and just bad coaching, but whatever. They had a ton of winning seasons in a row, before taking a few years to rebuild. Read my first paragraph.

the salary cap destroyed the dallas and sanfran dynastys that created most of their fans. neither team has come even close to repeating what they did before it was implemented.

What's that? Salary Cap? Isn't there an owner in the NFL right now that is looking out for his salary cap? Surely he must be tanking his franchise.

^ Yes, I said that just to irritate someone.

Ok, so say there is a lockout. Jerry looks WISE and saves himself a bunch of money. What did that do for the fans or the team?? Nothing at all. You may say, well he will have money to invest in the team after the lockout. So do all the other teams go broke? Hell no. Jerry will see the bottom line on his bank statement and that will make him happy. An owner like this would sell a team to another location like LA. Just sayin..

Yet amazingly Dallas is considered to be competitive yearly (going by the last handful of years) where the Panthers, are not.

BTW: Aikman - drafted, Irvin - Drafted, Emmit Smith - drafted

I live in Missouri and was planning on attending my first Carolina game this year in St. Louis. After the 0-5 start, I changed my mind on buying the tickets. Then we had the win against SF, which made me ponder buying tickets again. Glad I did NOT do this. My inner gut feeling game me reason to believe we would lose and I could not bare to see my team lose to the Rams.

I wouldn't have bought the tickets either FWIW.

Being poor might have something to do with that too, though.

And throwing the Cowboys out of the mix, plenty of teams and owners are way more than JR does. Steelers and the Patriots put out great teams, with quality pieces and not breaking the bank like the Cowboys.

Don't have allegiance to the owner, but only the team, cause the owner only cares about the dolla signs.
