This season is going by so damn slow and it sucks so bad. Its just obvious as long as Fox/Jeff is together we're going nowhere. We ran the ball too many times, and we did enough stupid ass trick plays

The fact Fox is still here is why I hate this season. I wouldnt mind this rebuilding/youth movement as much. I just wish the new coaching staff were the ones in here in charge of it. We can thank JR for that one.

This game was the typical bs. 1) run the ball now matter what on pretty much every single first down. The panthers might as well start every drive with 2 and 10 or 2nd and 9. 2) Do not use the players who had good games the week before in the current game. 3) Inability of the defense to get off the field on 3rd down, esp 3rd and long.

Fox is getting, ahem, $6.5 million this year. Richardson would rather see empty seats and a shitty offense then dump Fox and pay him for doing nothing.

It really is a shame as there are bright spots on this team but this coaching staff are not teachers or adapters. The playcalling alone demostrates such.

There is no rythm, there is no short passing game, there is no use of the backs out of the backfield, there is just nothing.

Run two, throw long, force it to Smith when he's double-covered, ignore Smith when he is open and the QBs lack vision.

I don't know if Moore can get better, I don't know if Clausen is the answer. I don't know if we need to get a QB coach or draft another QB; but, the only thing I know and most people on this board know, in the NFL, if you haven't got a QB, you have nothing.

no one will get fired. as much as i wish that would happen, it won't.

if we did fire foxy and/or davidson, who would we get to run the offense? tolbert? rip? skipper? none f those options look particularly appealing to me. maybe we go to someone in the UFL. it can't be much worse.

Would it matter who ran the offense?

My sons YMCA coach could do better than Davidson.

A very good coach could probably get a 2008 Falcons-ish year out of this team with some luck. One that was just competent might have us close to or better than .500.

Of course with the Davidson/Fox juggernaut in place we needn't really concern ourselves with such matters.
