Game 3: Bobcats (0-2) @ Milwaukee Bucks (0-2)

We don't have anyone that shoots consistently, at all. Wallace gets points sometimes, but he's not a scorer, and we shouldn't demand that. Jax is off and on, and even on usually misses 20 shots that game. DJ will score some, but isn't a threat. Diaw is horrible, just horrible. Tyrus is like Wallace, where he'll get some points, but that's not who he is. Then we get what, like 8 points at the center position the WHOLE game?

We NEED a scorer, and a big man, but definitely a scorer.

Defense is bad right now, rebounding is iffy, there is NO perimeter defense but there never has been. Brown is mediocre a lot of times in coaching.

We'll be 2-6 starting this season, that's our BEST hope I think. We won't make playoffs like this for sure.

Yeah the way this team has been constructed and now coached, we're not making the playoffs this year unless something changes. People have made excuses for each game only choosing to look a the positives. There aren't many.

DJ looked and played much better - offensively - tonight, but Brandon Jennings had a triple dub. He's not playing very well on defense but neither is anyone else. What we prided ourselves on last year, we suck at this year.

We're middle of the pack in OPPG and here's the most telling stat - We're 28th in Opp. FG%. Our Opponents are shooting at 54%.

And as you can tell by participation in these game threads, interest level is decreasing by the minute. Each night has seen less posts than the prior. They better make a move this week, and that's not 'the sky is falling' that's just being straight up, this team is bad. No consistent offense, no defense, we're bad.

I think the biggest hole is in the frontcourt. Diaw plays on the outside too much and doesn't use his length to his advantage very often on defense. The biggest problem is Nazr. At this point, Theo Ratliff would've been better out there most of the game. He's a complete liability on defense and his offense is limited, his hands are horrible and he's unathletic. IDK what LB and the FO was thinking going into the season with him as the main guy... This team is disgusting.

We can't stop anybody center with any talent at all. We are not only getting beat by 3 point shots we are getting beat by second chance shot. We have no solid rebounders in the 4 or 5 position. Mcroberts last night Bron-Muta tonight. Extra shots and tip ends after a miss are killing us. We need a center asap.

If only Kwame Brown was healthy, our problems would be solved.

False - this team is banking on a washed-up Nazr and an "improved" Gana Diop to carry us. Gana can't shoot or pass, not really sure what his strengths are - I thought shot-blocking, but still waiting to see it. Nazr is extremely careless with the ball in his hands, and is getting beat out on just about every rebound attempt. Throws horrible passes and seems to be completely out of rhythm with the offensive game plan (if there is one).

It's beyond frustrating to watch this team get out of the gate slow, make unforced and careless turnovers, and shrug their freaking shoulders trying to claw back into the games.

I'm done with Diaw - that was the case last year too, but I'd rather just give up his scoring and intangibles and just let Brown or any combination of forwards have his minutes.

Damn, they frustrate me.

Definitely, we need to use Nazr's expiring, Diaw, and maybe Jack to try to get some post scoring and a better backup PG.

I honestly think we could trade off Jack for a post presence and improve, b/c in all honesty, he has a wide skill set but he's not a go-to scorer.

I was just thinking after watching the game - I have no idea how the FO went into this season thinking that we'd be improved with the basically the same team that got swept in the 1st round of the playoffs??? It's almost like all of our local teams this year just decided to sit out this year... Really disappointing.

Jeez, there is 82 games in a season. You guys need to stop being negitive, you act like we need to win every game.

ON TOPIC: Nazr played like trash, and Tyrus needs to start hes an all-star caliber player. I would also like to see Derek Brown moAR.

There are 79 more games, and if we play the way we have, we'll be 0-82. But seriously, it's not that we haven't won yet, it's how we are playing. It's not clean basketball, have you watched? Do you see all the unforced turnovers, the horrible passes, us getting killed on the boards, giving up offensive rebounds and second chance buckets? I see it. And that has been a trend over the first three games. I know it's a long season, but an undersized team like ours can't afford to give up so many possessions in a game.

It's sloppy, and that's what is more bothersome than a loss.

Where is KT and the crew talking about how the Bobcats management is making all of these great moves to make the Cats a contender.

This is one of the worse teams I have seen in the NBA for several seasons.....can't shoot, can't rebound.....and suddenly this year they can't even play defense.

First the Panthers and now the Bobcats......Charlotte sports has hit an all time low this season.
