Team desperately needs a redesign/renaming

can't speak for other people but i see people sporting bobcats gear a WHOLE lot more than i use to. add in that sponsorships have doubled along with gains in season tickets sales tell me the team is on the right track. alot of people in this town will never adopt the bobcats or ANY nba team for that matter cause of the hangover from the hornets & the way the arena got built. so changing the name won't bother me but you can't win people over who have already made up their minds not to support the product no matter what

The best suggestion I've heard honestly is Flyers...but yeah that's an NHL name so I dunno. I'll be honest at least and admit Bobcats is better than a good deal of team names: Raptors, Thunder, Pacers, Rockets. Its just a shame this topic comes up more than the product on the court...but there's clearly something wrong with the team image, heck the NBA's image, and something big needs to change along with winning to get fans consistently in the seats.

If any teams in the league need renaming, its the Clippers, Lakers, Jazz, Bucks, Wizards, and Cavaliers.

And then after all of those, maybe the Bobcats. Wonder why the other teams' names aren't an issue, especially the Lakers and Jazz.

Instead of worrying about renaming the team, we should be worrying about Jordan spending all the money he can to sign a huge free agent like CP3 next year. I don't think anyone will be complaining about colors and logos when we are a consistent winner in the east.
