Ditto. Although, I'm not following the Steve Smith - "marginal" idea. That is, if you're suggesting that he is a marginal receiver.

Pretty sure this is a joke based on an old story.

A few years back while the issue of a new contract was being discussed, Marty Hurney was said to have referred to Steve Smith an an "unproven" receiver.

At the time, it would have been an accurate statement. Smith was still primarily a return specialist and hadn't yet become the player he is now.

However, when agent Derrick Fox related the comment to Smith, he used the word "marginal" rather than unproven. Smith reportedly blew his stack at the notion that he was "marginal".

Obviously, later discussions cleared things up and a new contract was signed.

I have a hard time defining anyone as untouchable/untradable.

There are guys I certainly wouldn't want to part with, but situations change and you never know what kind of offer might come up.
