I've always said Harbaugh as my dream hire for the coming year, not really thinking it is a reality... And King's prediction at least got it out there in the nat'l media, but it doesn't really influence what ultimately happens.

If we actually did bring Harbaugh in... I would be stoked/super hype. He fits the criteria I hope we go after, as far as an offensive minded coach and he's relatively young.

Speaking of Harbaugh, I doubt the Panthers would hire a HC with no NFL coaching experience.

I'm not saying Harbaugh would be a bad coach, I'm just saying that I don't think the Panthers would hire a HC with no coaching experience at the NFL level.

He spent two years on the Raiders staff.

Chip Kelly though? Seriously? The guy's only been a head coach at the college level since last year. Prior to that it was New Hampshire and Ivy League schools.

He could be "the next big thing" I suppose, but it's tough to imagine going with him over more established choices.

Kelly's Oregon's coach right? I'd be on board with that one too... He was under Bellotti for awhile if I'm not mistaken.

I'm usually not keen on college-to-pro head coaches for their first time go round either, but I think both those guys can do it.
