It's "gotta", which may mean he feels he has to do it, or he has to work all day in order to put himself into the position where he can start.

I think we are reading too much into the tweets; he's really hoping he starts and he's putting in a TON of effort.

Hope he gets his shot soon... I'd like to see what he can do on the field.

It's all speculation, which is what you are doing right now answering a question with a question. Nothing is concrete.

Thomas isn't the guy who makes the decisions so we can infer what we want but it's if it's not from Fox i.e. Moore starting it's speculation.
