What was your first live Panthers football game?

Telling my age here, CatMan... but my first pro game was an AFL exhibition game in the mid 60's... the Houston Oilers vs. NY Jets... they actually played in Memorial Stadium in Charlotte. Got Joe Namath's autograph. Back then, you had a lot more access to the players after the game.

First NFL game was Bears vs. Falcons in Atlanta in 1969. Dick Butkus, Gayle Sayers, Brian Piccolo were all in that game. Atlanta blew em out.

I no longer feel like the oldster here

Canton Ohio in 1995 for me.

My dad drove me up there to watch some dumb sport named football and all I knew about it was it wasn't Mortal Kombat.

the Panthers beat the Jaguars. I was hooked.

Since then, I've missed fewer than 10 home games.

Mine, too. Went with Broach Sports Tours on a motorcoach. We had a blast.

Haven't missed a home game in 16 seasons, plus went to the Super Bowl (also with Broach). Also a few away games along the way.

Went to two night games vs Giants and Buffalo b/t 97 and 98, cant remember which one was first. Been to about 20 or so ever since. Went to the Jax/Panthers preseason game in 01, had skybox seats, those were pretty sweet with open bar and good food. Smitty returned a td or two and Morgan left the game injured. Pretty much foreshadowed their careers in their first games as Panthers.
