I heard about this on the news. I'm down in Florida this week so I'm just hearing snippets. Guess Michigan got hammered also.

Yeah had a nice storm come through. Funny thing have a snow system to the northwest.

I live with THE best weather forecaster! My cat is far better than anything on TV OR the Weather Channel. She will head under the bed or into the closet before the first clap of thunder or lightening ever hits.

When she goes into hiding, I know it's time to batten down the hatches!

I live in Lincoln Co. We had some bad damage not too far away in West Lincoln. According to the police scanner, there were 2-3 houses, a couple trailers rolled, a couple barns that collapsed, box trucks blown over. One house collapsed around someone, and they had to dig them out. So far there have only been 11 injuries, 1 critical, luckily none dead or missing as of now. Barely got any rain and minimal wind at our place just 10-15 miles from this area.

Hope everyone is ok. Tornado went through just south of me. Driving home saw some terrible looking black clouds. Tornadoes such scary things....20 secs that could completely change your life.

Not trying to make light of tornadoes, and especially not anyone affected. Iive just lived here 4 years, and dont remember any tornadoes to speak of.

Where i came from (MS), they were frequent and severe and killing more people than any other state.

Lincoln County got hit pretty good, also reports of damage coming out of Stokes County. If it were daylight I probably would've seen the Stokes County tornado. I remember in 2008 right before a Hurricanes playoff game I saw one over Lake Brandt in Greensboro.
