Great movie. I kind of liked the sequel also with better special effects even though the story wasn't as original.

Saw it on HBO when I was twelve, on Halloween night, in a house with no adults. Just me and two buddies, and we watched it with all the lights off.

I was so freaked out I ran all the way home (and my house was only about twenty yards away).

Definitely one of the best. Ranked 25th in Bravo's "100 Scariest Moments" list.

I mentioned it in the Horror thread, I watched that movie so many times it started to become funny. I would like to see it again to see if it's still funny or just sad.
