Rams running back Steven Jackson had finger surgery on Monday, leaving his status for this Sunday's home game against Carolina uncertain. Jackson fractured the ring finger on his left hand during this past Sunday's 18-17 loss at Tampa Bay.

anyway...theres a lot of truth to this. most of his career he's been getting the crap beat out of him thanks to piss poor Olines and he's always done well. he's had much worse than this and kept plugging along.

not sure how it would be more interesting. ring finger is typically weak anyways and it's on his left hand. not really all that important for a right handed RB. just makes it a non-issue, imo.
