John Fox Proved Me Wrong Sunday

The Pope

I just don't beleive there is an NFL coach who ever lived that didn't care about winning. If these guys weren't ultra competitive, they wouldn't have made it this far in the first place. Of course, that doesn't mean that change can't be good, and I do believe Fox's time here is about up, but it's foolish assume that he doesn't care just because the team goes through a rough patch.

Fox will get picked up somewhere.. I'm not sure what that is supposed to mean to Panther fans though.

You make it sound like he's trash... If he is let go here, he will have his choice of any vacant HC job. Not saying I want to keep him here, but how soon we forget we went to a SB with Jake at QB. At least the guy is still trying to win!

I didn't really believe Fox was going to throw away the season. Richardson, oth? Yeah. It's obvious he has bigger/other plans.

Another thing that sucks about Fox though is that he's actually making me start to like him when it's pretty much certain he won't be here next year.

It's like he's rubbing it in my face. "See? I can do what you guys wanted me to do. I just never did."

no one has said he's trash. that is what you read. he is great at taking below average teams and getting the most out of them. he has proven he isn't able to get over the hump once that team finds success.

so my point is... it's time to see something different than the same 'ole John Fox team. if you want to stay 8-8 or 7-9 every year and you are happy with that.. go for it and be happy..

I hope Richardson feels as I do and would rather see something different on Sundays and take a chance, than to stay mediocre..

going to the playoffs in '08 doesn't make up for the last 5 years.. and the same issues year in and year out show it's time to go in a different direction.

with that said, keep throwing out things like "he'll get a job the second he walks from Carolina" or "he's never had a record lower than 7-9".. and forgive me for taking it with a grain of salt..
