How do we feel about the Rams?

Yeah I didn't know he had surgery until this thread... Man, if he plays, that would be incredible, even if it is the pinky, for a RB that's got to be huge. Probably even worse than if he was a WR because he carries the ball so much and you know, despite what players will admit, they'll be going after that finger trying to rip the ball out.

Rams are no longer a joke. Bradford is for real, although he is still a rookie. They have played very well in the Dome. Their defense appears to be much improve overall. they put a beat down on San Diego two weeks ago. Going to take a real good game again by Moore, gettis etc. plus a better defense performance to beat the Rams next sunday.

S Jackson did have surgery on a finger, but rumors are circulating that he's actually having problems with his hand and that could factor in. His status is day to day but he claims he should be 100% come game time. Something to consider.

If our defense can force them to start passing early and get inside pressure, we could actually blow them out imo. Bradford is good but he still is bound to hit some learning curves. I honestly think this win could be one where our D is stout and maybe scores a touchdown. Offense needs to have minimal to no turnovers and I see a win.

20-6

Sorry, guys, I don't see it. To me, this is our "man up game". This is the Panthers' opportunity to show that last game just wasn't an inspired game against an over-hyped team. We can be better than the Rams. We should be better than the Rams. Don't care if they're at home or not.

Matt Moore showed what he can do, so there are no more excuses. Our rookie receivers stepped up and showed why they should be in the NFL. Our coach showed why he is one of the most respected (and coveted) in the league. D-Will has the ability to at least equal, if not one-up, S-Jax (and this doesn't even take Stew into account). Our O-line has awakened and played like they should have all along. Our defense should be able to handle an absolutely mediocre group of wide-outs and exploit a rookie QB. This isn't the Colts we are talking about, here.

No excuses! Notwithstanding the adulation by Moore apologists, Gettis glee team, and Lafell loyalists, when I look at the Panthers' level of talent and experience on paper, and then look at the potential in light of this past Sunday's performance, the Panthers should absolutely win this game.

Just got to man up, hunker down, and get 'er done. It's that simple.
