Cowboys have one of the biggest followings in football.. based on a ratings standpoint, it just makes sense..

unlike the Cowboys, the Panthers need a reason to be brought up..

Just watched NFL Primetime on this same channel and they had every game but ours highlighted

Small market, 1-5 team. Not much to be expected when it comes to ESPN, who basically only cover the Boston, Chicago, NY, and Florida markets. They are very lackluster in NFL coverage, but showing teams like Oakland and Carolina as much as say, NE or even the Vikings wouldn't make much sense. Nature of the business. It's been said a few times in this thread, but if we put a couple winning seasons together and get past the divisional round of the playoffs 2 out of 3 or 4 seasons, THEN we will get coverage. To map the extent of concern for the Panther's victory is below:

A 0-5 team winning one is not news.

In fact, it's going to put us under the radar big time, because now we aren't the worst, but we have a long way to go to be considered even "good". ESPN does suck, but not for not covering our win.

Wrong, 49ers got alot of awareness when they won there first game. I don't like publicity anyways, but it would be nice to show some highlights of Gettis.

I have watched ESPN since 10 this morning and they haven't showed our game highlights from yesterday one time, they suck! The few times it was to come up they put Favre stuff over it and never played them.

I agree! They haven't showed any Panther highlights. Yes we're 1-5, so is Detroit and Dallas is 1-4 (bout to be 1 -6) 49er's 1-6, but I see highlights of them, what gives!

We were part of the Fastest 3 Minutes tonight and Boomer even said, "Gotta give some love to Moore & the Panthers, they got their first win", or something very close to that while showing Gettis' 2nd TD. Good enough for me, I watch ESPN only on Monday night.

ESPN sucks.....period! Has nothing to do with not showing our highlights. They have their certain teams and players that they jock sniff every week. I hate ESPN!!!!:cuss:
