They're good if you cook them down they get very sweet it's good. Fresh they're good on a sandwich etc.

I got ahold of something, presumably something made with pecans/cooked in something pecans were cooked in, in Charlotte several years ago...

Within 15 minutes of my eyes itching a little, my eyes swelled closed, I got the hives, and I could feel my windpipe closing...

Thankfully, I knew what was happening and took a boatload of benadryl and zyrtec, jumped in the shower and got soap all in my sinuses...

My eyes stayed swollen for a week... I almost went full on anaphylaxis mode...

sounds like you could use an epi pin. i've thought of getting one, but I am pretty careful about what i eat, and i've learned how to take care of reactions quickly.
